WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT OUR OFFICE IS NOW UTILIZING THE NEWEST GENERATION LASER FOR MANY DENTAL PROCEDURES THAT WE PERFORM.

Dr. Finger has participated in several training sessions over the past six months and has now incorporated the use of a state of the art laser in his practice. With this addition he can now perform most soft tissue surgeries and many decay removals without using the needle therefore many times our patients will be treated without needles or the drill. Unfortunately removal of old amalgam fillings and defective crowns will still have to be done with anesthetic and the drill but particularly for new decay this will be a great improvement. Obviously if a patient requests anesthetic along with the laser, we will be happy to provide it but most of you will find that it is not necessary. Please ask us to describe how the laser is used and the positive responses of our patients. We believe this technology will change how many of our patients feel about a visit to the dentist. We are delighted that we can provide our patients access to this new technology.

Here is an example of a 15 year old female who had never had a filling or a needle at the dentist. With the use of the laser we were able to remove the decay and restore the tooth with a bonded composite without the use of anesthetic. This young lady has no fear of dentistry because of this new technology since she had no discomfort while we were restoring her tooth.
